Every journey matters and at MPTC, road safety goes beyond the roads we operate.

This Road Safety Month, MPTC continues to strengthen its commitment to creating safer roads, empowering communities, and fostering responsible driving behavior through impactful programs that educate, engage, and protect thousands of Filipinos across our host communities.

From barangays and schools to drivers and transport groups, MPTC helps build a culture where safety becomes everyone’s responsibility.

SAFER COMMUNITIES, STRONGER PARTNERSHIPS

Through initiatives such as NLEX Barangay Security Watch, NLEX KalSaDa Road Safety Education Campaign, and the CCLEX Road Safety Awareness Program, MPTC works closely with local government units, schools, barangay leaders, and community stakeholders to address safety concerns surrounding expressways and nearby communities.

These programs focus on:

Road safety awareness

  • Anti-stoning initiatives
  • Pedestrian safety
  • Prevention of encroachment and open burning
  • Responsible community behavior near expressways

Impact Highlight: Since the launch of Barangay Security Watch in June 2025, no stoning incidents were reported in identified barangays for 2025. More than 1,500 stakeholders have been reached through these initiatives.

EMPOWERING DRIVERS TO BE ROAD SAFETY CHAMPIONS

Safe roads begin with safe and prepared drivers. Through MPT South Drayberks, NLEX Usapang Driver, NLEX Biyahero Road Safety Caravan, and See Clearly, Drive Safely, MPTC continues to promote defensive driving, expressway safety, and responsible road behavior.

Impact Highlight: In 2025, more than 2,000 drivers and transport stakeholders were trained.
