PASIG CITY, Philippines — In an impressive show of athletic vigor and corporate solidarity, nearly 90 employees representing Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) and its affiliated business units took to the roads of the Meralco Compound on September 6, 2026, to participate in the 70th People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) Community Run, themed “Run for HumanITy.”

The delegation delivered an outstanding collective performance across the 3K, 5K, and 7K distance categories, securing a substantial portion of the finisher medals and establishing MPTC as one of the most prominent corporate contingents at the annual event.

The company’s organized participation reflects a growing trend among leading Philippine enterprises that leverage external wellness and community events as vital employee engagement programs. Similar to wellness initiatives spearheaded by corporate peers across the MVP Group and member organizations, MPTC’s presence at the run underscores a strategic commitment to workplace health, work-life balance, and cross-functional unity.

By encouraging staff members to step out of office environments and step onto the track, such engagement efforts foster genuine camaraderie among colleagues from diverse departments and business units. Promoting physical health alongside mental clarity directly supports overall workplace morale, transforming a routine Sunday morning into a powerful exercise in team cohesion and brand pride.

The high-energy atmosphere of race day was captured in an extensive collection of event photography and footage. Organizers and participants have made these race-day memories available for viewing through the official PMAP event portal and shared digital repositories. Organizers extended their gratitude to all participating companies and runners, looking ahead to future events aimed at uniting human resource professionals and corporate teams across the country.

For MPTC, the event served as a testament to the company’s internal drive, demonstrating that its corporate strength extends far beyond infrastructure into the shared energy and well-being of its workforce.
